Man, 28, shot in Lawndale

A 28-year-old man was shot Thursday evening in the West Side Lawndale neighborhood.

Just after 5 p.m. he was sitting in a van in the 4300 block of West Ogden Avenue when a male got out of a gold sedan and fire shots, Chicago Police said. The shooter then ran off.

He was shot in his back and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
