Man, 31, shot in East Chatham

A man was shot Thursday night in the East Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 31-year-old was found when officers responded to a call of a person shot about 10:30 p.m. in the 7900 block of South Drexel, Chicago Police said.

He suffered a gunshot wound to his right arm and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said. His condition had stabilized.
