Man, 35, shot in South Shore

A man was shot Wednesday night in the South Shore neighborhood.

The 35-year-old was shot in his head about 8:15 p.m. in the 7800 block of South East End, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition, police said.
