A homeless man has been charged with fatally shooting another man during an argument Friday afternoon in north suburban Waukegan.

Undra Bailey, 30, faces two counts of murder, according to Waukegan police.

Officers responded to a shooting about 2:30 p.m. Friday in the rear alley of the 800 block of South Jackson in Waukegan, police said.

John Collins, 28, of the 2400 block of Sherman Avenue in Chicago was taken to Vista Medical Center in Waukegan, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Detectives believe the shooting happened during an argument between Bailey and Collins.

Bailey was taken into custody Monday near Route 137 and Route 41 in North Chicago, police said.

He is being held at the Lake County Jail on a $2.5 million bond, and is next scheduled to appear in court Nov. 17.
