A 21-year-old man was charged Friday with shooting at a home in northwest suburban Woodstock more than a year ago.

Nicholas A. Lopez of Woodstock was charged with a felony count of aggravated discharge of a firearm for the Jan. 24, 2015, shooting, according to Woodstock police.

Lopez fired at least two rounds at 10:24 p.m. through the front window of a home in the 400 block of West Judd Street, police said. No one was located immediately after the incident, but police continued to investigate and said they determined it to be drug- and gang-related.

Police obtained an arrest warrant on Friday for Lopez, who was in custody on an unrelated charge in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

His bail was set at $125,000.
