A man is facing a misdemeanor charge after he stabbed three people during a domestic argument Saturday morning in the South Side Oakland neighborhood.

Joseph James, 34, was charged with one misdemeanor count of domestic battery causing bodily harm, according to Chicago Police.

The attack happened about 7:20 a.m. Saturday in the 3500 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, police said.

A 46-year-old woman was stabbed in the head, chest and left bicep; a 41-year-old man was stabbed in the neck; and a 36-year-old man was stabbed in the face and left hand, police said.

The two older victims were taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, police said. The younger man was also taken to Stroger in fair condition.

All three victims refused to pursue charges against James, police said.

James, of the 2700 block of West Roosevelt, was scheduled to appear in domestic court Sunday.
