An Aurora man has been charged with throwing garbage in west suburban Bristol Township creek.

Eugene Brock, 55, was charged with one misdemeanor count of littering, according to a statement from Kendall County sheriff’s office.

On April 19, sheriff’s deputies were told that garbage had been dumped in a creek on East Beecher Road, police said. Bristol Township Highway Department employees also told authorities that they removed black plastic garbage bags containing household garbage from the creek on three different occasions.

Brock was charged on June 22, and his next court date is July 14, authorities said.
