A man was shot and critically wounded Saturday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 51-year-old was involved in an argument at 11:04 a.m. near a vehicle in the 3300 block of West Washington when someone in a group of people fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the head and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
