A 38-year-old man was being treated at the University of Chicago Medical Center after being stabbed in the left side of his chest Saturday in Woodlawn.

Police said the man’s girlfriend dropped him off at the hospital around 4 p.m. and that he told them two men tried to rob him as he walked in the 800 block of East 63rd Street and one stabbed him.
