A man died Friday, three days after he was shot in northwest Indiana.

About 11:30 p.m. Sept. 13, officers responded to shots fired in the 4200 block of Connecticut Street in Gary, according to Gary Police Lt. Dawn Westerfield.

They found 30-year-old Antonio Hill in an alley with multiple gunshot wounds, Westerfield said.

Hill, of the 1200 block of Arizona Street in Gary, was pronounced dead at Methodist Hospital Northlake at 10:15 p.m. Friday, according to police and the Lake County coroner’s office. His death was ruled a homicide.
