A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Friday morning in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Officers were dispatched about 7:40 a.m. for reports of a person shot in the 200 block of East 121st Place, according to Chicago Police. They arrived to find the 26-year-old man inside a vehicle with two gunshot wounds to the abdomen.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, but has since been stabilized, police said.

Officers were not able to obtain more information at the scene and a witness refused to cooperate with investigators, police said.
