A man was seriously injured while jet skiing Sunday afternoon near Calumet Beach in the East Side neighborhood on the Far South Side.

He was jet skiing near the beach when the craft flipped about 4:20 p.m., according to Chicago Fire Media.

The man, whose age was unknown, was taken in serious condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Chicago Fire Media said.
