A man was seriously wounded in a shooting late Friday in the Englewood neighborhood.

The 20-year-old was shot in the left leg at 9 p.m. in the 6100 block of South Green, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital and later transferred to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.
