A man was seriously wounded in a drive-by shooting Wednesday morning in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 42-year-old man was in the 2900 block of West 25th Place at 7:16 a.m. when a vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot twice in the back and taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
