A man was killed in a West Englewood neighborhood shooting Monday night on the South Side.

Erik L. Williams, 27, was standing on a front porch at 10:18 p.m. in the 1800 block of West 58th when someone in a gray sedan fired shots at him, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Williams, of the 1200 block of West 71st Place, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the side of his torso and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11 p.m., authorities said.
