A man was shot to death Monday night in the Homan Square neighborhood on the West Side.

John Hosey Jr., 28, was driving at 9:24 p.m. in the 3500 block of West Grenshaw when he heard gunfire and felt pain, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Hosey suffered gunshot wounds to the left arm, torso and back and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:32 p.m., according to police and the medical examiner’s office. He lived in the 3900 block of West Fillmore.
