Man shot in Albany Park

A man was shot Tuesday morning in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 25-year-old was dropping off his girlfriend about 5 a.m. in the 4400 block of North Monticello when a male opened fire, striking him in the arm and torso, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition, police said.
