Man shot in Austin

A man was shot early Sunday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The 37-year-old was standing in the street about 4:35 a.m. in the first block of North Central when a black Impala pulled up and someone got out and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

Bullets grazed the man’s head and right hand, police said. His condition was stabilized at a hospital.
