Man shot in back in Englewood

A man was shot in the back Friday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 29-year-old was standing in the 5600 block of South May about 2:25 p.m. when someone got out of a vehicle and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the back and was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
