A man was shot in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side Sunday morning.

The 21-year-old was standing outside about 2:35 a.m. in the 3900 block of South Rockwell when a person in a passing grey Ford Explorer fired shots, according to Chicago Police. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to the right hand.

The shooting could be related to another shooting at the same time in the 3900 block of South Campbell that killed a 19-year-old man, police said. Area Central detectives were investigating.
