Man shot in Chatham

A man was shot Tuesday night in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 21-year-old was walking about 10:30 p.m. in the 7600 block of South Cottage Grove when someone in a dark-colored vehicle opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the right leg and later showed up at Jackson Park Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
