A man was shot Thursday morning in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

Officers responded to the shooting about 7:40 a.m. in the 2900 block of West 25th Street and found the 35-year-old shot in the chest, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

The victim was not cooperating with investigators, police said.
