A man was shot early Sunday in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

About 1:45 a.m., the 25-year-old was in a vehicle in the 3000 block of West Van Buren when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the left arm, according to Chicago Police.

He later showed up at Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
