Man shot in Englewood

A man was shot early Wednesday in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 34-year-old was in his vehicle at 4:03 a.m. in the 7300 block of South Union when another fired shots in his direction, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the back and arm and was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, police said. The shooter was described as having dreadlocks and wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
