Man shot in Grand Crossing

A man was shot Friday afternoon in the South Side Grand Crossing neighborhood.

The 49-year-old was shot in the leg at 2:18 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Ellis, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to South Shore Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
