Man shot in Grand Crossing

A 21-year-old man was shot Sunday night in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

He was standing on the sidewalk about 8:20 p.m. in the 7400 block of South Kimbark when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the right ankle and both hips, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
