A 21-year-old man was wounded in a Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood drive-by shooting Thursday afternoon on the South Side.

About 3 p.m., he was walking near 76th Street and South Chicago Avenue when a beige SUV pulled up and the passenger opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man ran to the 7500 block of South Dorchester, where he realized he’d been shot twice and called for help, police said. He was taken in good condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds to the left leg and arm.
