Man shot in Hermosa

A man was shot early Monday in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 19-year-old told investigators he was walking about 12:20 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Kildare when another male walked up and shot him in the right leg, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
