Man shot in Humboldt Park

A man was wounded in a shooting late Thursday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 19-year-old was standing on a sidewalk about 11:45 p.m. in the 800 block of North Springfield when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to his left leg, police said. His condition was stabilized.
