Man shot in Humboldt Park

A man was shot late Saturday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 36-year-old told investigators that he was walking about 10 p.m. in the 2800 block of West Augusta when someone exited a Chevrolet vehicle and fired shots in his direction, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg and showed up at Norwegian American Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
