A 36-year-old man was shot and wounded Saturday in Hyde Park.

He was shot in the buttocks and leg just before 6 p.m. when two people walked up to him in the 5300 block of South Maryland Avenue and started firing, according to the police, who said he was being treated at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
