A man was shot in the knee Thursday morning in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened about 8:15 a.m. in the 6000 block of South Bishop, according to Chicago Police.

The 26-year-old was shot in the knee, and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
