Man shot in Lawndale

A man was shot early Sunday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 32-year-old was standing outside at 4:19 a.m. in the 1800 block of South Kostner when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the left abdomen and left arm, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
