A man was shot early Sunday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

About 3:50 a.m., the 25-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 1400 block of North Rockwell when someone in a brown conversion van fired shots striking him in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
