A man was shot early Sunday in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 18-year-old was standing outside about 1:50 a.m. on the sidewalk in the 2700 block of West 22nd Place when gunfire erupted and he was shot in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
