Man shot in North Lawndale

A man was shot in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side early Saturday.

The 48-year-old was walking on the sidewalk in the 1100 block of South Richmond about 12:15 a.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

He took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right arm, police said. He was listed in good condition.
