A man was seriously wounded in a drive-by shooting Monday morning in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The 25-year-old man was in the 1800 block of South Kildare at 8:16 a.m. when shots were fired by someone in a black SUV, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the leg and back, and also suffered a graze wound to the right backside, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.
