Man shot in Old Irving Park

A man was shot early Sunday in the Old Irving Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 22-year-old was walking at 12:32 a.m. in the 4200 block of West Addison when he heard gunfire and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the lower abdomen and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
