A man was shot to death Apr. 24, 2022, in Grand Crossing.

A man was shot Sunday morning in the South Side Park Manor neighborhood.

About 9:15 a.m., the 21-year-old was on the sidewalk shot in the 7000 block of South Vernon when someone in a blue truck shot him in the thigh, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.
