A man was shot in the Scottsdale neighborhood on the Southwest Side Sunday afternoon.

The 47-year-old was getting out of a vehicle about 1:15 p.m. in the 8000 block of South Knox when he heard gunshots and felt pain, Chicago Police said. A male was seen driving away north on Knox in a tan sedan after the shooting.

He suffered two gunshot wounds to the left leg and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.
