A man was shot early Wednesday in the South Shore neighborhood.
The 39-year-old was driving in the 7500 block of South Chappel about 4:10 a.m. when another male fired shots in his direction, according to Chicago Police.
The man suffered a graze wound to the back, jumped out of his vehicle and ran more than four blocks to Jackson Park Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said. The shooter was described as a black male wearing a baseball hat and a white shirt.
