A man was shot in the buttocks early Sunday in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 23-year-old was standing on the sidewalk about 12:50 a.m. in the 2800 block of West 25th Place when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the left buttocks, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
