A man was shot Wednesday night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 39-year-old was standing in a parking lot in the 6300 block of South Damen at 11:40 p.m. when someone in a beige car shot him in the right arm, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, police said.
