Man shot in West Englewood

A man was wounded in a shooting late Tuesday in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 22-year-old was walking on the sidewalk about 11:15 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Oakley when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Holy Cross Hospital with a gunshot wound to the right foot, police said. He was listed in good condition.
