A 33-year-old man was shot in his right leg around 5:30 p.m. outdoors in the 4300 block of West Monroe Street in West Garfield Park.

The police said he got into an argument, and the other person shot him in his right leg, but he was able to drive to Loretto Hospital, where he was in good condition.
