Man shot in West Pullman

A man was shot early Sunday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 37-year-old told investigators that he was in a parked vehicle about 1:30 a.m. in the 100 block of East 120th Street when someone walked up and fired shots into the vehicle, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered gunshot wounds to the right leg and left ankle and took himself to Roseland Community Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
