A 51-year-old man was shot with a BB gun early Sunday on the Near West Side.
He was standing on the sidewalk about 12:20 a.m. in the 2500 block of West Madison when he heard shots and realized he’d been struck, according to Chicago Police.
He was shot in the head and back and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized. Police said he was shot with a BB gun, and his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
