Man shot on Northwest Side

A man was wounded in a shooting Monday night on the Northwest Side.

The 34-year-old was walking on the sidewalk at 10:23 p.m. in the 4400 block of West Belmont when someone fired shots from a vehicle, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the foot and taken to a hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
