A man was shot and seriously wounded late Saturday in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

At 11:37 p.m., the 32-year-old was sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked in the 7300 block of South Emerald when another male walked up and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the chest and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.
