A 28-year-old was shot while driving Thursday night in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

He was driving north about 9:20 p.m. in the 11600 block of South Morgan when he stopped at a stop sign and someone in a black hoodie who was walking on the street fired shots in his direction, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the left arm and took himself to Roseland Community Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
